Official announcement of the turnout and elected in By-Elections, October 27

The NEC has announced that the total turnout of By-Elections held in six constituencies on October 27 was 30.9%. Among six elected people, four candidates are the members of Grand National Party (GNP) and each of two other candidates is the member of Democratic and independent respectively.

 

By-Elections were conducted on a small scale without the vacancies of seats in the National Assembly and comparing to By-Elections in the first half of this year, the total turnout (30.9%) was lower than that (34.1%) of By-Elections held in the last July.
