| Training programme for electoral officials from South Africa |

The Korean Civic Education Institute for Democracy co-hosts with the A-WEB a training programme for 12 electoral officials from South Africa visiting Korea to learn the Korea’s advanced election system and study ways to improve elections in their country from November 29 to December 6. The training programme includes discussions on ways to develop the election systems of Korea and South Africa under the themes of the election system, election management, political funds, etc. It also includes visits to the NEC and the A-WEB as well as the introduction to the advanced election system of Korea using information and communications technologies and an opportunity to experience the system. The KOCEI has so far provided 35 training programmes to 416 electoral officials from 45 countries, which contributes to enhancing friendly relations with the participating countries and promoting Korea’s national brand. |
