Free Course Election Academy for Prospective Politicians Established by KOCEI


= Spaces for 40 students on a first-come-first-served basis from October 13 = 

 

The Korean Civic Education Institute for Democracy (KOCEI) opens for the first time a free course called Election Academy for Prospective Politicians targeting 40 hopefuls who wish to run for office in public elections.

 

This election academy will take place at the KOCEI center in Suwon for three days from October 25 to October 27 and those that wish to take the course can apply through the KOCEI homepage (http://www.civicedu.go.kr) by October 13. 

 

This program will be composed of sections on the Public Official Election Act, strategic electoral planning, PR marketing to voters, political leadership, candidate PR image consulting, understanding and experiencing political speech, and experiencing TV debates, and will be scheduled with participation and practical exercises at the center.

 

KOCEI emphasized that from now the Election Academy for Prospective Politicians will give practical help to prospective politicians who are hoping to run for office in public elections and requests for a great deal of interest and participation in the program.
