The National Election Broadcasting Debate Commission announced that it will hold the “2^nd Policy Debate for the National Assembly Elections” for two hours at 10 AM on 24^th February leading up to the 19^th National Assembly elections, as inviting floor leaders or representatives of 6 political parties.

It is expected that participants will make a heated discussion on the subject: ‘Core Policies for Social Welfare and Action Plans of Each Political Parties’.

The group of debaters will be consisted of: the floor leader of the Saenuri Party (New Frontier Party); the floor leader of the Democratic Unity Party; the floor leader of the Liberty Forward Party; the floor leader of the Unified Progressive Party; the acting floor leader of the Creative Korea Party; and the vice floor leader of the New Progressive Party.

The commission announced that the debate will be presided over by broadcaster Hae-Jeong Jeong and will be aired live on MBC, KBS and SBS nationwide, as it asked voters to have a keen interest in the debate.
