| Policy Debate for the 18th Presidential Election |

The National Election Broadcasting Debate Commission announced that it will hold the “3rd Policy Debate for the 18th Presidential Election” on the fields of politics and elections for two hours at 10 AM on November 16th at KBS, as inviting spokespersons of 4 political parties. It is expected that participants will make a heated discussion on the subject: measures for the renovation of politics; how to build the policy campaign focusing on voters; and policy direction toward the North. The group of debaters will be consisted of: the spokesperson of the campaign headquarters of the Saenuri Party (New Frontier Party); the spokesperson of the campaign headquarters of the Democratic United Party; the spokesperson of the campaign headquarters of the Progressive Justice Party; and the spokesperson of the campaign headquarters of the Unified Progressive Party. The debate will be presided over by Mr. Sang-Moo Hwang, KBS correspondent, and will be aired live on MBC, KBS and SBS nationwide. According to the Article 82-3 of the Public Official Election Act, policy debates shall be held once a month from the 90th day before the election day to the prior day of the candidate registration day (from September 20th, 2012, to November 24th, 2012) in the lead up to the 18th Presidential election; and this is the third and last debate after two debates in September and October.
