The first policy debate of political parties in 2010 was held in July 16, 2010 from 10 am to 12 pm at KBS studio. The debate was aired through three main Korean broadcasting companies and two of them broadcasted the debate live across the country.

In the debate, two topics were discussed: 1) ways to improve the actual economic sentiment and 2) ways to prevent sexual assault. The participants of the debate were representatives of policy committees in seven main political parties.
