| Order Numbers on Ballot Papers Have Been Determined |

As the registration of candidates for the 18th Presidential election was closed, the National Election Commission determined the order numbers to be printed on ballot papers. The order numbers of 7 presidential candidates for the 18th Presidential election are as follows: Number 1: Geun-Hye Park, Saenuri Party(New Frontier Party); Number 2: Jae-In Moon, Democratic United Party; Number 3: Jeong-Hee Lee, Unified Progressive Party; Number 4: Jong-Seon Park, Independent; Number 5: So-Yeon Kim, Independent ; Number 6: Ji-won Kang, Independent; Number 7: Soon-Ja Kim, Independent. In accordance with the Public Official Election Act, Article 150, the order numbers of candidates to be printed on ballot papers for the Presidential election will be determined as follows: as of the deadline for registration of candidates, the candidates recommended by the parties with a seat in the National Assembly will be the first to get numbers, followed by the candidates recommended by the parties without a seat in the National Assembly and the independent candidates. The order numbers will be determined among the candidates recommended by the parties with a seat in the National Assembly, depending on the number of their seats. The order numbers of independent candidates will be determined by lot. If candidates resign, die, or their registration is invalidated even after the candidate registration period, the numbers, names of political parties, and names of candidates shall not be deleted on ballot papers. However, if those (resignation, death, invalidation of registration) occur before printing ballot papers, “Resignation”, “Death”, and “Invalidation of Registration” will be printed on ballot papers; and after printing ballot papers, those information should be posted at each polling station on the election day to inform voters. Repeat and by-elections will be held along with the 18th Presidential Election on December 19, so different colored papers will be used in the following elections: Presidential Election : white, Head of Si/Do Government : yellowish green, Superintendent of Education : light slate-gray, Head of Gu/Si/Gun Government : sky-blue, Si/Do Council members : egg-colored, and Gu/Si/Gun Council members : mayonnaise-colored
