Voters May Check the Voters’ List and Lodge an Appeal from November 26 to 28 According to the National Election Commission, anyone eligible to vote in the 18th Presidential Election may check the voters’ list for 3 days from November 26 to 28. They may also lodge an appeal against such errors on the list as omissions or wrong entries. The heads of Gu/Si/Gun Government have established the voters’ list, including voters registered as residents in the districts concerned as of November 21. Voters may visit Gu/Si/Gun offices in their residential districts or visit the websites of Gu/Si/Gun offices to check the voters’ list. In case of any omission, wrong entry and unqualified voter being found on the list, appeals may be lodged to the corresponding Gu/Si/Gun offices from November 26 to 28. According to the NEC, even those with voting rights are not entitled to cast their ballots on Election Day unless their names are on the list, which is why they need to confirm if their names are correctly listed during the period for check. |
